About Ibua Publishing
We produce and distribute African stories
Ibua Publishing is a digital brand on a mission to make African stories a thing by telling them well, telling them true, and delivering them to curious souls anywhere in the globe with just one click. We produce and distribute African stories in diverse forms, i.e. literature, audio, video, and live performance, to honour the unique ways in which modern audiences consume content and keep the art of storytelling relevant in changing times.
Our Goal is to help build a reading and writing culture
Established in June 2018 to create publishing opportunities for writers in continental Africa and ease access to African stories through digital technology, Ibua Publishing’s primary goal is shift the practice of storytelling in Africa from the oral tradition to a reading and writing culture as the principal means of passing on past and present knowledge from one generation to the next. Ibua Publishing is an initiative of Lantern Meet Foundation.
